Produced via an online service, these 2-sided full-color invitations were printed on a heavy card stock with a fabric texture in keeping with the medieval theme.

1 color, 1 sided printing. Red and yellow pennants for the guests to wave at the conclusion of the ceremony.

In keeping with medieval traditions, individual tarts were served for dessert, and identified by these toothpick pennants, apple tarts marked with yellow flags, and cherry tarts with red flags.

The couple’s individual coats of arms were combined into one standard for use on this banner, as well as much other collateral used during the reception.

I used Specular Infini-D to create the short looped 3D GIF animations that represented each section of the site. I drew the clouds by hand in Photoshop.

One of the owners suggested banner ads that weren’t actually ads, they were called “squawks,” a colloquial aviation term for an aircraft’s self-identifying radio burst. The content of these “squawks” included jokes and facts.

Ah, back in the day when HTML frames were actually used frequently and weren’t so reviled. Here again, the mascot image in the header was animated.

The site was alive with animation. Exit pages are rarely seen on today’s internet, but in 1997, this exit page featured a skydiver that floated downscreen while geese flew across the header.

The 60th anniversary is the diamond anniversary, so the shape almost determined itself. This art was used on coffee cups and embroidered on shirts.

I designed this piece to look like a photo album, drawing from the organization’s archive of pictures, scanning them in, and making them look like photographs pasted into a photo album.
